This policy explains what personal data CASTTCO collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We are the data controller for that information.
1. What we collect
- Enquiry details — your name, email address, chosen service and message, when you use the consultation form.
- Order details — billing and delivery address, order contents and purchase history.
- Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number.
- Health information you choose to share during a consultation. This is special category data and we process it only with your explicit consent.
2. Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you requested — to perform our contract with you.
- To take payment and prevent fraud — our legitimate interests and legal obligations.
- To meet accounting and tax obligations — a legal obligation.
- To send marketing, only if you have opted in — your consent, withdrawable at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with providers who help us run the business: Stripe for payments, Vercel for website hosting and Google (Gmail) for email, and [DELIVERY PARTNER] for shipping. We never sell your data.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for [RETENTION PERIOD]. Order and financial records are kept for six years to meet UK tax law. Health information is kept for [HEALTH DATA RETENTION PERIOD] and then securely deleted.
5. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you may request access to your data, ask us to correct or erase it, object to or restrict processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Email casttcompany@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.
6. Cookies
This site loads fonts and styling from Google and Tailwind, which means those providers receive your IP address in order to serve those files. We set no cookies of our own, and the site uses no analytics or marketing cookies, so no cookie consent banner is currently required. Card payments are not yet enabled on this site; once they are, Stripe will set cookies necessary for secure payment and fraud prevention.
